Details
striking antique scorched bamboo corner étagère featuring four graduated triangular shelves, decorative burnt detailing and a wonderful turned ball gallery along the upper frame. The shelves have their own beautifully patterned surface, giving this piece an incredible amount of character from top to bottom.
The bamboo frame has been carefully restored and refinished while preserving the age, variation and original character that make these early bamboo pieces so special.
One shelf has evidence of a previous repair at the back corner. Otherwise, this étagère remains in amazing antique condition with normal wear, marks and variations consistent with age and use.
A fabulous architectural piece for displaying books, pottery, shells, plants or your latest collection of things you absolutely did not need but still gonna have.
