Large braid rattan will always have some splits and or fraying in the structure considering the making and or settling process. Wear to the pieces as a whole overall excellent condition. The base on underside have some typical Florida weather black spots. That piece has been properly treated and sealed with an outdoor exterior lacquer. Original cushions are in great condition with some wear and can easily be upholstered
