Vintage Verdigris Metal Palm Tree Sculpture in Classical Urn
A wonderfully sculptural vintage metal palm tree rising from a classical urn-form base. Layers of individually formed palm fronds create a full canopy overhead, finished with a beautifully aged verdigris surface in mottled shades of green, turquoise and deep bronze.
The substantial metal urn base features fluted and embossed detailing and rests on a square plinth, while white stone fills the planter for a finished presentation. A small opening concealed within the palm canopy allows the piece to also function as a candle holder, though we love it just as much as a decorative sculpture.
Made in India and retaining its original label. The naturally aged surface, oxidation and variation in the metal give this one exactly the character we want in a vintage tropical piece.

Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Verdigris, oxidation, patina, finish variation, scuffs and surface wear throughout. Minor bends and irregularities may be present to the hand-formed metal palm fronds. White stone is included and affixed. Please refer closely to photos.
