True old Florida split bamboo planter with new Grasscloth sides and wood frame handmade by Cartmell Mfg Co in St Petersburg Fl from the 1950’s.
Unique rare piece that will hold quite a few plants with two compartments along with being deep. The inside of the planter has been previously painted white and suggest a plastic liner if using real plants as water could damage the wood frame.
New Grasscloth has been added to the sides as the original was torn and trimmed in the original bamboo strips.
Fabulous piece for indoor or outdoor and if used outdoors do suggest undercover.

Wear is consistent and noticeable on the split bamboo and wood frame. The inside has been previously painted with some showing through to the split bamboo. Piece has been cleaned, refinished and new Grasscloth added with wear appropriate to age. Overall a great rare unique piece.
