A sculptural pair of mid-20th century drum side tables by Maitland-Smith, crafted with tightly wrapped pencil rattan in a diagonal weave. The tops have been carefully restored and filled, as the original grout was damaged, while the sides were intentionally left with slight spacing to showcase the natural depth and texture of the rattan. Recently refinished, these tables retain subtle imperfections consistent with their age and handcrafted nature, adding to their charm and authenticity.
